The Practice Pantry
You are the Expert: Let’s Build the Tools You Actually Need
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.
We have all been there.
It’s 8:30 PM on a Sunday. You are preparing for a difficult session on Monday morning, and you realize that the worksheet you need—the one that clearly maps out that complex family dynamic or explains that specific cognitive distortion—doesn’t exist.
So, you pull out a blank piece of paper. You start sketching. You open Microsoft Word and wrestle with margins, font sizes, and layout for forty-five minutes. By the time you’re done, you’re tired, your creative energy is drained, and you still have your actual treatment planning to do.
At The Practice Pantry, we want to help you reclaim those hours. But more importantly, we want to build a library that isn’t just “our” vision—it needs to be yours.
The Collaborative Laboratory
We don’t believe that the best clinical tools are built in a boardroom. We believe they are built in the therapy room, by the experts who use them every single day: you.
This is why we’re so excited to officially introduce “Shape the Pantry.”
We are moving away from the idea that The Practice Pantry is just a shop. Instead, we want it to be a collaborative laboratory for clinical resources. We want to build the frameworks that you are currently sketching out on napkins or drafting in the margins of your notes.
Why Are We Doing This?
Because the “unbillable hours” crisis in our profession is real. Every hour you spend designing paperwork is an hour you aren’t resting, reading, or focusing on your clients.
If you have a clinical challenge you’re solving, chances are there are hundreds of other practitioners across South Africa facing that exact same challenge. Why should we all be solving the same problems independently? Let’s pool our expertise and create resources that serve the whole community.
How You Can "Shape the Pantry"
It’s simple. We are opening up our product roadmap to you.
Do you have a clinical challenge you’re currently tackling? Is there a worksheet, a legal framework, or an administrative template you find yourself wishing you had in your back pocket?
Tell us what you need.
Submit Your Idea: Visit our Shape the Pantry page and tell us what you’re looking for.
The Review: We review every submission to see if it fits our criteria for “broadly useful clinical resources.”
The Reward: If we select your suggestion to develop into a new toolkit, we will send you the final product for free as a thank you for your clinical insight.
You aren’t just making a request; you’re helping build the professional infrastructure that the modern South African practice deserves.
Ready to Collaborate?
Whether it’s a better way to explain trauma to children, a new intake form, or a specific clinical guide, I want to hear it.
